Into the sunsetMemorial Day Weekend, the unofficial start to summer, has come and gone, so now it’s time to hit the road and do that cross-country road trip you’ve been talking about doing the last 10 years, right? Well, if you are going to take on such a feat, there is a 100% chance that you’ll pass by one of our Hercules Truss Arch Buildings, since we have our fabric structures in all 50 states! What state currently holds the rolling title for the most ClearSpan buildings? What states make our Top 5? Take the poll below, check back in one week for the answers, and map out YOUR road trip accordingly.

If you happen to see one of our buildings on your trip, snap a picture of the building, prove to us that you’re on a “road trip,” and we’ll send you a free gift! All you have to do is email the pictures and your mailing address to us at: mzirolli@clearspan.com. This blog was submitted by: Kat Hayden, ClearSpan Truss Arch Sales Specialist

About three weeks ago, my manager asked if I would be willing to attend the Electric Power Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans and of course, I jumped at the chance. With the good food, warm weather and the opportunity to represent the company, who wouldn’t? Monday the 31st I boarded a flight to New Orleans at 8:30 a.m., and after an hour delay from the freak, end-of-March snow storm, we were heading south. Two weeks ago I introduced you to our affiliate company, FarmTek. FarmTek offers over 30,000 products to the agricultural industry, and although that is great for farmers, what about contractors and manufacturers? Who do they turn to in order to outfit their entire operation? The answer is simple – TekSupply, our other affiliate company. Continue reading

My Journey into the Land of Plenty—Literally!

Land of PlentyMost of you know that I manage the brand marketing for our ClearSpan Hercules Truss Arch Buildings. I like to refer to myself as the ClearSpan Brand Evangelist; however, updating the web and blogging isn’t my only role at Engineering Services and Products Company (ClearSpan’s parent company). I also organize and plan events—everything from attending trades shows and conferences to hosting open houses and workshops. Occasionally, if I’m lucky, they release me into the wild and I get to travel! In today’s blog I’m going to tell you about my trip to our manufacturing facility in Dyersville, IA, or as I like to call it, my journey into the land of plenty! Continue reading
