Cape Henry Racquet Club was founded in 1974 and is located only two miles from the scenic Virginia Beach Boardwalk. In 2009, local tennis instructor Darryl Cummings bought the club with expansion in mind. Cummings, a former college tennis player and coach, wanted to turn the club into a state-of-the-art facility that would be able to hold regional tournaments and local lessons year-round. Red Hook Terminals specializes in processing cargo to be loaded onto large trans-Atlantic ships. Head of Port and Terminal Development Joe Abbate mentioned that with the terminals location near the Gulf of Mexico, weather has always been a concern for Red Hook. “In most of our company’s locations we don’t have shelter for the employees to work within, so we often have to shut down operation during inclement weather, which costs us considerable money and resources.” Continue reading

Originally a 150 year old farm, Hope Ranch for Women bought the farm in 2011 and turned the land into an equine focused therapy facility. Hope Ranch for Women offers an equine-based, assisted personal development and mentoring service in order for women to heal from the physical, mental and spiritual effects of exploitation. With the tough winter across the US extra salt was needed to keep the roads safe, and due to this need Shawnee County, a county surrounding Topeka, Kansas, required a larger building for the county’s road salt storage. After researching several fabric tension storage buildings, Tom Flanagan, Deputy Director of Public Works Shawnee County, determined an engineered ClearSpan Hercules Truss Arch Building was the right solution for his Public Works Department. Off to the Races: Customer Spotlight on Gulfstream Park

83 x 600 at Gulfstream Park, Hallandale, FLSince opening in 1939, Gulfstream Park, which is owned by the Stronach Group, has served as one of the most important venues for thoroughbred racing in the US. Among other world-renowned races, Gulfstream hosts The Florida Derby, The Donn Handicap, Sunshine Millions Series and The Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap. In the summer of 2013 Gulfstream Park received over 4,000 stall applications for its upcoming Winter Racing Season. With about 2,000 existing stalls on its property, Gulfstream called on ClearSpan to manufacture and install 100,000 square feet of additional thoroughbred stall space. Continue reading
