As we prepare to say goodbye to 2014, we wanted to take a moment and look back at some of the buildings that came to be during this past year. With riding arenas, storage facilities, livestock housing and more, 2014 has been a great year, and we wanted to showcase some of our favorite buildings from the past twelve months.

Location: Virginia Beach, Va.

Size: 120′ wide x 106′ long

Application: Covered tennis courts

Train like the pros in this year-round practice facility. Snow, rain and cold weather can’t affect your game when you have a Hercules Truss Arch Building, like the one at Cape Henry Racquet Club.

Location: Charlevoix, Mich.

Size: 54′ wide x 75′ long

Application: Storage facility for shredded plastics

Keeping recyclable materials protected from the elements is never a problem in a Round-Style Truss Arch Building. This pony-wall building is ideal due to its maximum amount of storage space, and the 16′ wide by 18′ high fabric-gathering door makes it easy for equipment to enter and exit the building.

Location: North Judson, Ind.

Size: 50′ wide x 45′ long

Application: Sand and salt storage facility

This pony-wall building not only keeps sand and salt protected from the elements, it also keeps them separated. The high clearance and open front end allow for faster loading and unloading of materials.

Location: Camanche, Iowa

Application: Alpaca housing, hay storage & equipment storage

These buildings really make the perfect farmhand. Housing livestock, hay and equipment, these buildings can keep up with the busy life of any farmer.

Location: Omaha, Neb.

Size: 54′ wide x 118’6″ long

Application: Zoo stingray exhibit

Don’t worry, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you, this building actually IS curved. This custom engineered building is truly one of a kind, and was one of the more challenging, yet fun, buildings we have worked on.

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Size: 100′ wide x 210′ long

Application: Storage facility for granite slabs

Naturally, the largest building on our list would be found in Texas. We are always proud of our buildings, but we are very proud of the custom made sign that adorns the front of this structure. Ask us about getting a custom sign for your structure in 2015!

This building features two 50′ wide by 14′ high Bi-Fold doors, which allow easy access for large equipment and vehicles.

Location: Ovilla, Texas

Size: 73′ wide x 160′ long

Application: Equine riding arena

A covered area that allows for year-round riding, even during times of heavy rain and high heat. This structure features two 12′ wide by 14′ high coil sheet doors and an open front end, allowing for easy access to the building at any time.

Location: Red Rock, Az.

Helping keep the Arizona heat at bay, this Hercules Truss Arch Building keeps both animals and humans cool and comfortable, no matter what.

From the East to the West Coast, ClearSpan Fabric Structures serves the needs of people all across the country. We take pride in every building we manufacture, and we are pleased to have added these, and several other buildings, to our resume this past year.
