Affordable for Personal Use—Spotlight on Golden Sunset Farm

CS Golden Sunset FarmWe always enjoy when we can help one of our customers’ businesses succeed and gain a competitive advantage due to purchasing a ClearSpan indoor riding arena. Let’s not forget, however, that many of our customers purchase ClearSpan indoor riding arenas to satisfy the reason they started riding- simply because they enjoy it. Today’s blog focuses on Golden Sunset and how their Hercules Truss Arch Building and ClearSpan met their needs.

Golden Sunset FarmGolden Sunset Farm is a small horse farm in Virginia which is owned and operated by Doug and Barbara Harrison. This ten-acre farm is for the Harrison family’s personal use and currently houses eight horses. Virginia can get quite cold in the winter, and the Harrisons realized they needed a place to be able to ride year round.

Previously, Golden Sunset Farm only had an outdoor arena which made riding difficult in the winter months when temperatures can drop below freezing or when the weather was otherwise inclement. The Harrisons began researching indoor arena options and came across ClearSpan Fabric Structures on their affiliate company’s website.

CS Golden Sunset Doug says, ‘We chose a Hercules Truss Arch Building based on the affordable cost and open feel of the structures. We had checked out other ClearSpan indoor arenas in our area to get an idea of what they were like.” Doug and Barbara are pleased with how the purchase and installation process went and how the building is working out. They share, ‘The ClearSpan installation teams were outstanding. They were professional, efficient and did a first-class job.”

About the building Harrison says, ‘We love the bright, airy feeling of our ring. We also like that we have the ability to use virtually the entire covered area. The atmosphere inside the arena is quieter than a typical wood or steel structure and the horses seem to like it better.” He concludes, ‘I don’t think I Golden Sunset Farmcould have made a better choice than a ClearSpan building for our indoor riding arena.”

This 83′ wide x 120′ long Hercules Truss Arch Building was the perfect solution for the Harrisons’ needs. The economical price of ClearSpan buildings makes them an affordable solution for both commercial and residential applications . If the Harrisons do ever want to start a business, or feel the need to expand, we’re confident they’ll turn to us as their solution providers.
